We loved the location near the old medina, perfect for exploring. The room was spacious and clean, with a bonus small office. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooftop was relaxing with great views and delicious breakfast.

I had a fantastic stay at a riad in a great location. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the terrace overlooking the city. The riad was close to the restaurants and the beautiful beach. I would highly recommend this riad for a wonderful experience.

Beautiful riad in the heart of the Medina. Tastefully furnished rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and quiet. Excellent location, close to the souk and city wall. Good breakfast on the terrace with ocean view. Fast wi-fi.

Nothing to dislike.

Location is very convenient, within walking distance of all the main sights, beach and excellent restaurants (M'Riste Jouhar right next door & Sirocco around the corner to name but two great restaurants). The rooftop terrace with seaviews is a lovely spot for breakfast or relaxation.

The guest rooms at Riad Al Zahia are beautifully decorated in traditional Moroccan style, with stunning tadlakt and copper accents in the bathrooms. As a guest who appreciates cultural aesthetics, I absolutely loved the attention to detail in the room decor.

Personally, I found the balcony in the double room to be a bit small. However, I understand that others may still enjoy having a balcony and might not mind its size.

Location within the Medina excellent, close to the beach and restaurants.

Rooms are very noisy, yet with no external windows. The Yasmina room wasn't nice so we switched although had to pay for it so it turned out quite expensive.

Was not a cheap hotel, the bath room was poor.

The hotel had a good location, in the heart of the city, close to shops and restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing us with good tips on where to eat and what to do. We also enjoyed the breakfast, which offered a good variety of options and was included in the price.

Our stay at the hotel during New Year's Eve was marred by noisy surroundings that kept us up at night. The room was not well insulated and we could hear everything going on outside.

The staff were great, the room was comfortable and the breakfast excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We loved our stay in this hotel located in the very centre of the old town. The hotel facilities were impressive, especially the stunning rooftop terrace with beautiful views of the surrounding area. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very helpful, recommending we take the bus instead of a grand taxi, and even providing wine and beer.

Not obvious to find.

The hotel had a great location and was very nice in terms of decor. Great roof terrace with lots of space, sunbeds, chairs, etc. Staff were very good and breakfast was tasty. Free wi-fi was good too.

It was a tad noisy with a central atrium, and a little stuffy with no windows.

Excellent location, beautifully decorated, spacious twin room, light and very friendly service. Thanks for a great stay. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing break in Essauira to stay at Riad Al Zahia. Also, a great restaurant with belly dancing (expensive but worth it) was Mamouche.
